Exciting Opportunity: Senior HR Advisor
Salary: Β£35,000 β Β£43,000 per annum FTE (Pro rata) depending on experience.
Location: Inverness
Working Hours: Flexibility on desired working hours between 24 to 30 hours per week.
Role Highlights:
Play a key role in driving HR strategy and workforce development, supporting company growth through policy development, performance management, and employee training. You\βll provide experienced HR guidance aligned with our Vision, Mission, Core Values, and Business Plan, working closely with leadership across all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide best practice HR advice across all areas including delivering on company objectives through adherence to company policies, maintaining good employee relations, performance and absence management, recruitment, training and policy development. Lead key initiatives such as training, performance reviews and apprenticeship program. Oversee HR compliance, manage the training budget and support HR and payroll processes to ensure alignment with company values and business goals.
Essential
- Proven experience within an HR function.
- CIPD Membership or have equivalent qualifications/experience.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of legal requirements within and HR environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Commitment to accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
- Have outstanding interpersonal skills with people at all levels within a business
- Up to date knowledge of recruitment, best practice staff retention methods.
- Strong drafting skills with proven ability to draft policies, procedures and reports.
Desirable
- Experience in scoping of Learning & Development plans.
- Experience of working in a similar sized private business.
