Hours: 39 hours per week.

What is the job role?
We are searching for Field Service Engineers to join our growing team, based in Inverness, travelling around our customer sites.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installation of mechanical, electrical and feed systems in new build barges in Inverness, other Gael Force office locations as well as the installation and refurbishment work at customer sites.
- Maintenance and fault finding on mechanical, electrical and feed systems as required and in line with current maintenance contracts.
- Liaise with the Field Service and Support Manager to give reports from site to improve customer service and inform possible design and process improvements.
- Assist in the installation of pontoon and marina systems on-site.
- Training customers on operations and maintenance of installed systems.
- Surveying of customer equipment to inform quote and upgrade requirements.
- Participate in planning works.
- Be part of ROTA for weekend Emergency cover.
- Liaise with client on all aspects of ongoing site work.
- Assist in preparation of pricing for small works as required.
- Ensure all relevant QA documentation is completed prior to installation or handover as appropriate.
- Ensure any Risks Assessments and Method Statements are produced and/or adhered to where applicable.
- Carry out activities at Gael Force production sites as required when not on-site.
- Promote the use of routine maintenance and service contracts where appropriate.
- Work to all relevant Company policies, processes and procedures.
- Any other activities that can be reasonably expected in support of Group business.
What you’ll need:
Essential:
- Relevant Mechanical or Electrical experience.
- Working knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical installations, maintenance and fault-finding systems is required.
- A working knowledge of the Health and Safety legislation and best practice.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft software suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
- Reliability in terms of time management is core to all aspect of this job.
- Working knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical installations, maintenance and fault-finding.
- Valid UK driving licence.

In return for working a 39-hour week, we are offering:
- A competitive hourly rate of between £16.50 - £18.50 per hour dependent on the experience and knowledge of the candidate.
