Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Skilled Landscaper role based in Bury St Edmunds. The position involves carrying out day-to-day landscape maintenance tasks, including lawn care, planting, pruning, and general garden upkeep for commercial and domestic clients. Skilled Landscapers will assist with the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems, support landscape design implementation, and ensure all sites are kept tidy and safe. The role also includes operating tools and machinery, following health and safety guidelines, and working as part of a team to deliver consistently high-quality results. Occasional interaction with clients to discuss ongoing work and ensure satisfaction may be required.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Landscape Maintenance and Landscaping, with experience in maintaining high-quality outdoor spaces.
- Practical Gardening skills, including planting, pruning, weeding, and lawn care.
- Experience with Irrigation systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.
- Ability to support Landscape Design implementation, working from plans and contributing practical ideas.
- Experience using a range of landscaping tools and machinery, with a focus on safe operation.
- Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
- Relevant landscaping or horticulture qualifications or certifications are beneficial.
- Full, valid driving license and reliable transport are an advantage.
