GAC UK is looking for candidates for the role of Operations Supervisor within our Marine and Terminal Services (MATS) team to be based in Grays, Essex. Could it be you?
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, delegating tasks and managing priorities to ensure efficient delivery of service.
- Manage staffing levels through effective rostering and workforce planning to meet operational demands.
- Train and develop team members to deliver high performance and meet operational objectives.
- Complete site training to enable operational cover when required.
- Maintain safe and compliant operations through completion of audits, competency checks and risk assessments.
- Act as a key customer contact and contribute to business development activities to expand customer base.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years service within Marine and Terminal Services related work.
- OOW and STCW qualifications are desirable but not essential.
- NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely and Appointed Person certification is desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Demonstrates the ability to adapt to changing environments and effectively prioritise workload.
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
- Proven ability to lead and work effectively as part of a team.
