Job Description

Could you be the person we are looking for to join us as our new Purchase Ledger Assistant in Grangemouth?

What would your day at GAC look like?

  • Daily processing of high volumes of purchase invoices
  • Coding of overhead invoices and coordinating authorisation
  • Completing supplier reconciliations
  • Accurately maintaining the purchase ledger
  • Arranging supplier payments, including preparing BACS payment runs and arranging overseas payments
  • Providing holiday cover for team members
  • Additional ad‑hoc duties to support the Finance Department

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in purchase ledger or similar experience
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working in a fast‑paced office environment
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft applications preferred
  • Ability to work well within a team and to own initiative
