Full‑time position based in Bristol covering Bristol and surrounding sites.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of quality, safety, security, health & environmental protection.
  • Follow company & client procedures & report all hazards, incidents & safety concerns.
  • Ensure vessels are correctly moored and aligned with shore loading arms and connections.
  • Ensure safe access via properly rigged gangways.
  • Monitor throughout operations.
  • Connect and disconnect loading arms and spool pieces.
  • Operate valves to direct product through the correct pipeline into shore tanks.
  • Complete Ship Shore Checklists and carry out regular checks in line with ISGOTT to ensure safe discharge.
  • Monitor for leaks and adjust connections as required.
  • Carry out shore tank dipping.
  • Take samples from ships, cargo lines, shore tanks, and truck bays.
  • Test in line with customer requirements.
  • Perform line displacements, stripping operations, and pigging operations.
  • Accurately record all activities and findings during the shift.
  • Working hours vary depending on shipping and tidal conditions.
Job Requirements
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good understanding and appreciation of a proactive safety culture.
  • Marine or terminal experience desired but not necessary; all full training will be provided.
  • Full clean driving licence with own transport available.
  • Willingness to travel between sites (travel costs are covered).
