GAC UK is seeking an Operations Manager to lead and develop the MATS Operations Team in Belfast.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the MATS operations team.
  • Day‑to‑day management of operational personnel.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders.
  • Prepare and issue accurate, timely customer invoices.
  • Increase operational efficiency and service quality by driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Achieve financial targets for the MATS department by increasing revenue in line with forecasts and budgets.
  • Conduct regular audits of operator work.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marine and terminal services related work.
  • OOW and STCW certifications preferred.
  • Appointed Person Certification desirable but not essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and new situations.
