GAC UK is looking for candidates for the role of Agency Services Coordinator within our Global Offshore Agency Services (GOAS) team to be based in Aberdeen. GAC UK employs over 300 experts across more than 25 offices covering all of the UK, Ireland and Gibraltar. We deliver a wide range of integrated shipping, logistics and marine services to the energy and shipping industries. We also serve specialised sectors like marine leisure, sports and events, automotive and aviation, providing complex and time‑critical logistics solutions. We apply the highest standard of customer services to everything we do and aim to be industry leaders within all the sectors we serve.
The Key Responsibilities Are:
- Providing customers a single point of contact into the GAC network globally and coordinating all requirements
- Setting up port call operations for customers
- Monitoring and assessing supplier performance levels during the course of operations
- Providing operational and account management support to the GOAS team and existing customers
- Supporting customer project or port call requirements globally
- Coordinating customer PO management and assisting with credit control processes for all GOAS customers
- Ensuring local GAC offices are working in line with customer commercial agreements and operational KPIs at all times.
Job Requirements:
- Strong communication skills with both supply chain and customers
- Strong organisational skills due to high volume of customer enquiries and administrative tasks within account management
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workloads efficiently
- Capable of producing and maintaining accurate reports
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications which will be used daily
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving
- A full driving licence and access to a car are required
- Experience in Ship Agency within the offshore industry is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
Upon completion of training, the successful candidate will join the duty rota which consists of evening and weekend work as we are available 24/7 for our customers.
