Operations Supervisor – Eastham
Operations Supervisor in Eastham. Join our team to manage day‑to‑day maritime and terminal service operations, ensuring safe, efficient and customer‑focused delivery.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, delegating tasks and managing priorities to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Manage staffing levels through effective rostering and workforce planning to meet operational demands.
- Train and develop team members to achieve high performance and meet operational objectives.
- Complete site training to enable operational cover when required.
- Maintain safe and compliant operations through audits, competency checks and risk assessments.
- Act as a key customer contact and contribute to business development activities to expand the customer base.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years service within marine and terminal services related work.
- OOW and STCW qualifications are desirable but not essential.
- NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely and Appointed Person certification is desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrates the ability to adapt to changing environments and effectively prioritise workload.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
