_*Here we grow again, now opening Newmarket inside the Upper Canada Mall.*_Gabby?s Restaurant\’s (Urban Dining Group) are owned and operated by 2 local Toronto families. This year we are celebrating our 36th Anniversary and we continue to provide exceptional food value and great local neighborhood service.We are currently looking for an experienced GM or an AGM looking to take the next step. Our wish is for a General Manager that will motivate and energize staff on every shift. You will need to have drive and a service based mindset to make decisions in the best interest of the restaurant. You understand labor, food and liquor cost and know how you can help with controlling each on a daily basis. Ideally you have 4+ years of solid GM experience in a high volume and fast paced environment.*Must haves:*_*MUST LIVE in NEWMARKET AREA*__*Full service (sit down) restaurant experience is a must.*_Ability to uphold high standards in food quality, guest service and fiscal managementAble to train and coach all staff to ensure you are delivering great food and service to each guestNew Store opening experience is a bonusKnowledge of how to increase sales vial social and local marketing initiativesStrong knowledge with Inventories and Labor controlSuccessful long term stays (4+ years) at previous employmentCompetitive salary, 5 day work week, 2 weeks vacation, Manager meals and benefit package options available._*Access to, or have your own vehicle will be key.*_Please send in your resume.
