The predicted salary is between 22700 - 27700 £ per year.

Full time permanent position in Doncaster/Scunthorpe.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8 am - 4.30 pm, Friday 8 am - 3.30 pm. Start earlier and finish later by 2 hours on occasions when very busy.

Salary: £27,000 - £33,000 (negotiable depending on experience). Overtime available. 25 days holiday + bank holidays, private cash/health plan.

We are looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join a reputable and established joinery manufacturing firm. The CNC operator will help to coordinate the department, maximising throughput while maintaining the highest levels of quality and health and safety, working closely with team members and company management.

  • SCM CNCs working with new, top-quality machines.
  • Required to help draw programmes and understand how drawings work.
  • Work as part of the CNC team to continuously improve all operations, competence, processes, and procedures.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure effective and constructive communication.
  • Continuous Improvement is essential to minimise delays and increase efficiency.
  • Experience with wood and ability to read production drawings is advantageous.
  • Programming schedules for the week ahead.
  • Helping to train employees to diversify skills in the department.
  • Ironmongery Stores control.
  • CNC tooling supplies, working with purchasing to reduce spend.
  • Increase efficiency of the department.
  • Corrective/Preventive action work with all departments to report and prevent wasted/down time.
  • Ensure maintenance is carried out correctly and on time.
  • Ensure Health and Safety practices are observed.
  • Any other reasonable duties that might be needed from time to time to assist the company in attaining its business objectives.
