An amazing opportunity to join our 5 Star Luxury Hotel, The May Fair Hotel as a Night Receptionist. The hours for this role are based on 12 shifts on a 4 days on 3 days off rota basis.

As a Night Receptionist you will be responsible for night reception and lobby hosting ensuring a smooth guest experience at night. You will handle all aspects of the guest journey from check in and out, rooming and helping with luggage where necessary. You will greet all guests in a pleasant manner, handle cash payments and float in accordance with the company standards, and respond to all guest communication professionally ensuring personalisation and customisation to ensure a high level of service excellence. You will assist with the daily completion of administration tasks within the department and ensure that all guest needs and requirements are fulfilled during their stay, making them feel valued. You will promote amenities and food and beverage outlets and arrange in-house amenities as required. Additionally, you will gather information about guests to update our database and make proactive use of guest details to provide a truly personal service. Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction is delivered at all times in line with our core values and standards, exceeding guest expectations.

About You

  • Previous hotel reception experience is required ideally within a 4- or 5-star hotel operation.
  • Previous experience of IT applications including Opera, Office 365, Guest Plus.
  • Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Impeccable command of English both written and spoken.
