About the Role
G4S Facilities Management is seeking a reliable, friendly Cleaner to join our team at Phoenix Upper School, part of the G4S Tower Hamlets Schools portfolio. In this role, you will deliver high-quality cleaning services that maintain a safe, spotless environment for staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Routine Cleaning: Carry out daily dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping across assigned areas using provided schedules and checklists.
- Sanitation & Restocks: Empty bins, replace liners, and refill dispensers (soap, hand towels, paper rolls).
- Stock & Equipment: Monitor cleaning supply levels, report low stock, clean and safely store all equipment after use, and notify management of any maintenance issues.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain logs of cleaning activities, report hazards, and comply with all health, safety, and PPE standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous professional cleaning experience is a plus, but full training will be provided.
- Skills: Strong teamwork, good communication skills, ability to follow instructions, and a focus on safety.
- Screening: Due to working in an educational environment, an Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
