City: London Requisition ID: 9946We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to manage the Installation, Commissioning, Maintenance and Servicing of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems and other associated systems throughout London and the South East of England.

Responsibilities are: Project Management of the Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems and other Related Systems.

For ascertaining viability of designs & liaising with G4S System Design or Consultants.

Responsible for compliance with regard to technical auditing and managing compliance with quality standards & regulations.

Assembling & Maintaining customer site files.

Compiling all O& M Information for hand-over and administration of all relevant engineering paperwork.

The Customer base throughout the UK and have a willingness to travel throughout the UK is essential.

To develop and manage site specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements where necessary, To attend Site Progress and Specialist Subcontractor meetings when required.

To provide Technical Support to the G4S System Design, Sales and Engineering Team.

To effectively manage and maintain your company vehicle to a high standard.

To carry out other duties, which reasonably fall within the remit of the Project Engineer, as requested by the Operations Management Team.

We are looking for the following experience: Experience in Commissioning Fire Detection and Alarm systems, Refuge System, WC Alarm Systems and PAVA Systems.

Experience of the following

Systems: - Gent by Honeywell - Vigilon Vigilon Voice product range - Baldwin Boxall Refuge System - Scope Paging Systems Quantec System Experience of working in a Customer facing End User and Site based environments.

Knowledge of relevant British Standards for Installation and Commissioning of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems and Refuge Alarm Systems.

Knowledge of relevant British Standards for Installation and Commissioning of Intruder Access and CCTV Systems.

Our recruitment and selection process will include an interview and screening to BS7858 standards.
