Working as part of the Research and Development Team you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our product and delivering excellent customer service.
Overview of RoleThe role involves the development and support of new and existing products, specializing in Mobile Apps Development. You will be working with C# and Xamarin.Forms / .Net MAUI solutions, alongside gaining exposure to backend monitoring services. You will gain broad exposure across the business by contributing to a diverse portfolio of projects. You will collaborate closely with the Embedded Systems Development Team, QA Team, and Software development team. You will participate in modern development techniques such as Agile. You will help ensure that all products are fully unit tested so they meet all aspects of functionality and performance as defined in the requirements specification. You will follow a tailored onboarding plan and receive direct, weekly mentorship from senior engineers to level up your C# and MAUI skills.
Who are you?You hold a Degree (or have an expected graduation date) or equivalent in Software Engineering or a related course. You have a strong desire to build a career in mobile application development or purpose-built devices. You possess foundational knowledge or academic experience in C#, Xamarin.Forms, Xamarin and/or .Net Maui. You will be a proactive individual who can work both independently and as part of a team, you will have a keen appetite for learning new skills with a detailed and analytical approach to your work. Communicating effectively both verbal and in writing will be a key skill along with strong problem solving and organisation skills. You are detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
