With a very busy year ahead, G4S Events Team is recruiting additional Events SIA Security Stewards to help deliver unforgettable customer experience at some of Glasgow's top venues. This is your chance to be involved in the live entertainment events you love, including OVO Hydro, SWG3 Glasgow, New Edmiston House and TRNSMT 2025, as well as sports venues such as Hampden Park, Ibrox Stadium, Celtic Football Club and Scotstoun Stadium. This is your chance to be at the heart of the action.
Our Events SIA Security Stewards show a level of commitment that ensures they can succeed in this customer-facing role and act in line with the standards and values set by our company. We welcome interest from everyone who holds SIA Door Supervisor Licence, enjoys assisting and supporting others, caring toward others and problem solving. Our Events SIA Security Stewards provide a visible reminder that safety is our number one priority for visitors and staff. This means you could be inside or outside, on your feet helping to ensure the safety and enjoyment of staff and visitors.
This may include:
- Performing pre and post event safety checks ensuring compliance with safe working procedures
- Conducting visitor searches on entry to venues
- Ensuring that no prohibited or restricted items are taken into the secured zones within the venues
- Monitoring visitor / crowd movements and behaviour to identify potential issues or incidents and to take action as necessary
- Dealing with visitor / crowd disruptions
- Securing licensed / hospitality areas
Whenever you are showing visitors where to go or dealing with difficult visitors, you will be the friendly, approachable face of the event.

You will be employed on a casual basis meaning you can work as many events as you like and make extra income at weekends or in the evenings. Join us and be part of Glasgow's most exciting events while contributing to the safety and enjoyment of visitors.
You will just need to complete the following application form and one of our Recruiters will be in touch to discuss the next steps. Our recruitment and selection process will include an interview and screening to BS7858 standards. Given the nature of the industry, we do need to ask some questions for security and compliance purposes, but don’t worry - you will only need to complete them once.
