We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor from a Mechanical or Electrical background to join our friendly team at a prestigious building in Cheltenham. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 7am to 4pm supervising the on-site maintenance team and specialist contractors.
Responsibilities
- Supervision and organisation of maintenance staff and on-site contractors undertaking PPM & reactive works, ensuring they are carried out in accordance with customer SLA's & KPI’s.
- Utilise CAFM and mobile systems to support site Engineers and allocate tasks.
- Providing a key point of contact for staff and contractors for all Health & safety matters.
- Working closely with other Supervisors to cover leave & sickness and to be available to provide cross team support as necessary.
- Monitor site operation utilising BMS & ENMS systems to optimise service delivery.
- Respond to defects, faults and client requests, providing excellent customer service.
- Where required identifying and providing solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Undertake to be part of the audit programme both in house and external.
- Review productivity, drive innovation and quality within service delivery.
- Undertake Development reviews with the team.
- Address all HR issues from direct reports involving line Manager/HR team where appropriate.
- Assist in the coordination of safe and efficient performance of any out of hours works.
- Develop and maintain day to day contact with client representatives.
- Identify training and development to satisfy corporate objectives and define succession plans.
- Be able to progress to Authorised Persons qualification (Mechanical or Electrical, Confined Space).
Essential Criteria
- Experience of monitoring/managing BMS systems.
- NVQ Level Electrical or Mechanical bias.
- IWFM Level 3 or willingness to undertake after starting.
- 5 years experience in working in a commercial or industrial FM service delivery environment.
- Microsoft Office familiarity and IT Literate.
- An analytical and organised approach to work.
Desirable Criteria
- IOSH Managing safely.
- SMSTS/ SSSTS.
- AP in their trained discipline with experience of isolation procedures.
Please be aware that National Security Clearance should be held or be obtained.
