We have an excellent opportunity for an Aviation Security Trainer.

You will be responsible for delivering and assessing training programs covering diverse areas like GSO, GSS, CO, COS, CS, ASM, RFX, and CM for various airports and airlines across the UK. This will be a National role to cover all airports across the UK.

What you will be doing:

You will be responsible for creating lesson plans, developing training materials, and maintaining accurate training records.

Support operational leads to ensure proactive management of training needs and ensure the recurrent scheduling process.

Support training teams with a quality assurance framework and its implementation.

Regularly audit the IQA training syllabus to ensure its validity with the legislative guidelines.

Training Delivery:

Design, deliver, and assess aviation security training for various roles.

Curriculum Development:

Create and update courseware, lesson plans, and training aids to align with current UK Civil

Aviation Authority (CAA), DfT and ICAO standards.

You must hold or have held a CIN (Certified instructor number) within the 18 months

Your Expertise:

Maintain and develop expertise in a range of aviation security areas, including:

Recognition of Firearms and Explosives

Cargo Security

In-Flight Supplies

Dangerous Goods

Aviation Security Management

Aircrew Security Training

Compliance & Records:

Ensure all training is conducted in line with regulatory requirements and maintain detailed

training records for all personnel involved.

Report on training activities and ensure any security incidents are reported immediately.

Essential Qualifications and Attributes:

Security Trainer.

Deep and broad knowledge across all core aviation security disciplines is essential.

Proven experience in delivering classroom and operational training or mentoring is typically

required.

Salary: £30,000 – £34,000 depending on experience
