Event and Matchday SIA Security Officer

Salary: £13.75 per hour

Identify with a valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) Licence – required to apply for this role. Candidates without a licence may be considered for a Customer Service Steward position.

We are recruiting additional SIA‑licensed Door Supervisors to work at football, rugby, and cricket matches, as well as theatres, conferences, and concerts across the region. Manchester is a key location; opportunities include two Premier League clubs, a high‑profile cricket ground, and major music and sporting events throughout the UK.

Flexible shifts, 40+ hour per week options, and travel to the biggest events are available.

As an Events SIA Security Officer you will be responsible for securing venues, staff, and visitors for our customers. This may include:

  • Carrying out pre‑ and post‑event safety checks to ensure compliance with safe working procedures
  • Searching visitors on entry to venues
  • Ensuring that no prohibited or restricted items are taken into secured areas
  • Monitoring visitor and crowd movements and behaviour to identify potential issues or incidents and taking action as necessary
  • Dealing with visitor or crowd disruptions
  • Securing licensed and hospitality areas
