London is a thriving city with a busy events calendar and there is always something to look forward to! Holding 20,000 visitors, the O2 is the home to the world's most popular music, sport and entertainment events and so much more – this is an exciting opportunity to come and join our team with evening and weekend work available.
We are currently recruiting for experienced SIA Door Supervisors to enhance and expand our current teams, working at The O2 Arena and other prestigious venues across London – including a Premier League Football Club or Conference Centre.
We are looking for individuals who are energetic, friendly and approachable, with great communication skills who can interact with members of the public. Customer Service is key, so you must have the ability to problem-solve and deal with situations in a positive and proactive manner and be able to work during the evening or at weekends.
As an Events Door Supervisor you will be responsible for:
- Securing the venues, staff and visitors for our customers.
- Carrying out pre and post event safety checks ensuring compliance with safe working procedures.
- Responding to incidents and dealing with them in a professional but robust manner.
- Searching visitors on entry to venues.
- Ensuring that no prohibited or restricted items are taken into the secured zones within the venues.
- Monitoring visitor and crowd movements and behaviour to identify potential issues or incidents and to take action as necessary.
- Dealing with visitor and crowd disruption and ejections from the venue, if appropriate.
- Securing licensed and hospitality areas.
