We are recruiting Customer Care Stewards to support the delivery of the Commonwealth Games at the SEC from 23 July to 2 August 2026, helping create a safe, welcoming and memorable experience for athletes, officials and visitors from across the globe.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out pre‑ and post‑event safety checks, ensuring compliance with safe working procedures.
  • Greeting, assisting and directing visitors attending the event.
  • Ensure no prohibited or restricted items are taken into the secured zones within the venues.
  • Monitor visitor and crowd movements and behaviour to identify potential issues or incidents and take action as necessary.
  • Maintain a visible and reassuring presence throughout the venue, whether indoors or outdoors, standing for extended periods.

Opportunities to support our Events Team at Glasgow venues such as Hampden Park, Ibrox Stadium, Celtic Football Club, Scotstoun Stadium, SEC Armadillo, Scottish Event Campus, SWG3 and Edmiston House. Potential events include Scottish League Cup Games, Take That shows, TRNSMT, Metallica, Glasgow Summer Sessions, Calvin Harris and more.

Requirements

  • Must be over 18 years old.
  • Availability between 23rd July and 2nd August 2026, including early mornings and late evenings.
  • A friendly, professional, and reliable attitude with a strong focus on great customer service.
  • Confident communication skills and a smart, well‑presented appearance.
