G4S Events are recruiting additional SIA Door Supervisors to support our Events Team working at Doof In The Park on 4 July 2026. If you’re confident, professional, and ready to work in a fast‑paced events environment, we want to hear from you! You’ll also have opportunities to work at some of the biggest events and iconic venues in Edinburgh, if you’re open to travel.

As a DS licensed Security Officer, you’ll be the visible, friendly face of safety, helping to ensure visitors and staff have a safe and enjoyable experience. You should be comfortable handling any incidents that may occur and deal with conflict management in a professional manner.

Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to any call made by control in relation to crowd disturbances
  • Deal with crowd disruptions (including possible physical removals/extractions) and provide a robust response when required
  • Perform body and bag searches if required
  • Monitor crowd movements and behaviour to identify potential issues or incidents and take action to resolve as necessary
  • Ensure that all secured zones within the venue remain free of prohibited and restricted items
  • Assist with checking tickets at entry points, managing car parking facilities and any other venue tasks as required

Requirements
  • Must be over 18 years old
  • Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence (Events Safety Steward role requires a valid licence; otherwise consider other opportunities)
  • Availability to work evenings and/or weekends
  • A friendly, professional, and reliable attitude with a strong focus on great customer service
  • Confident communication skills and a smart, well‑presented appearance
