We are currently recruiting for Area Security Officers in Armagh! Our Area Security Officers provide professional security and customer service for our clients and their customers, with varying shift patterns covering a minimum of 5 different sites within a 35-mile radius, across multiple government sites. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have your own transport, and complete baseline clearance as part of our screening process for the civil service contract. Due to multiple sensitive sites within this contract, we will additionally sponsor a Counter Terrorism Clearance for the successful candidate.
Am I suited to being an Area Security Officer?
Previous experience in security is not a must, but if you're already working in the industry, or have before, we welcome you to join our team. We know you'll get off to a flying start!
A typical week will include:
- Building relationships with employers and community organisations
- Working as part of a team and on your own depending on site requirements
- Based in government buildings, you'll be working within clear guidelines, dealing with employees & members of the public who need to attend the building
- An opportunity to work across a number of sites where you will gain increased knowledge, growing your own value as a guard
