We have an exciting opportunity to join our Belfast team as a Commissioning Engineer. We are looking for someone to successfully undertake the commissioning of high end addressable fire and associated fire safety systems in a wide variety of applications throughout the United Kingdom.
What you will be doing:
- Primarily undertake the commissioning of modern bespoke Addressable Fire Detection and Alarm Systems, Refuge Alarm Systems & Associated Systems as scheduled by our Regional Installation Manager or Customer Support Centre throughout the UK.
- Occasionally undertake service calls and out of hours call out - as scheduled by our Customer Support Centre.
- Carry out small installation day works as necessary.
- Ensure that programmed commissioning works are completed on time and within budget, and to a high standard in line with customer expectations.
- Carry out on site training / demonstrations with consultants and end users.
- Effectively manage your personal vehicle and vehicle stock.
- Liaise with Customers at a local / site level.
What we are looking for:
- Experience of the following Systems: Gent by Honeywell, Vigilon, Vigilon Voice product range, Baldwin Boxall Refuge System, Scope Paging Systems, Quantec System.
- GCSE / O Level or equivalent as a minimum.
- Industry recognised Qualifications.
- Current base level site Health & Safety qualification ie ECS/CSCS/CSR card or equivalent.
- At least 3 years experience in the commissioning of high end bespoke addressable Fire Detection & Alarm systems.
