G4S is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Supervisor to lead and support a team of Security Officers at our client's premises in Belfast, Andytown. The successful candidate will be a pivotal figure in ensuring the highest standards of security service delivery, compliance, and team performance. This role requires a leader who can not only manage operations effectively but also embody G4S's commitment to safety, security, and exceptional customer service, working collaboratively with both the client and their customers.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Team Leadership and Support: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Security Officers, setting a strong example of professionalism and adherence to G4S standards. Ensure the team's compliance with all G4S processes, training requirements, and regulatory standards. Foster the growth and success of the team through effective supervision, coaching, and performance management. Maintain flexibility in approach and work schedule to ensure seamless team operation and service continuity.
  • Security Service Delivery: Oversee the day-to-day security operations, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of all contracted security services. Utilize a proactive approach to risk management, ensuring a safe and secure environment for the client, their customers, and their clients. Possess the skillset to lead by example in all security procedures and client interactions.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate great interpersonal skills, maintaining positive and professional relationships with team members, clients, and the public. Exhibit excellent customer service skills, coming alongside our client and their customers/clients to address needs and concerns. Maintain great communication and liaising skills, acting as the primary point of contact between the security team and the premises management team.
  • Process Compliance and Oversight: The ability to support and enforce the following processes is of high importance: Operational Procedures, Training Compliance, Incident Reporting & Management, Health & Safety Regulations, Client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Required Qualifications and Attributes

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the security industry.
  • Valid SIA Licence (or equivalent, as required).
  • Demonstrable ability to lead, support, and develop a security team.
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills.
  • A strong commitment to compliance, integrity, and process adherence.
  • Customer-focused approach with a proven track record of delivering excellent service.
