THE ROLE

As a Regional Evidence Processing Manager, you will be overseeing multiple Evidence Processing stores within a specified region. You will manage a dedicated and diverse team providing excellent standards of service whilst ensuring properties, and items relating to property are reported and managed through effective systems. The post holder will be providing accurate and up to date guidance to key parties on property handling issues. Your main duties will include:

  • Ensure that all property is securely stored, logged, maintained, transported and disposed of according to organisational guidelines and legal requirements
  • Providing guidance and support to key parties on property handling enquiries
  • Manage all employee performance across your dedicated multi site locations
  • Accountability for delivery of KPIs through efficient and productive workforce management
  • Manage the movement of items relating to the property and accurate records to be kept up to date
  • Record all information relating to property matters and liaise with suppliers and internal contacts
  • Managing partnerships with external agencies
  • Report on any non-compliance matters and record as necessary
  • Conduct analysis to understand route cause and manage to ensure future compliance
  • Drive employee engagement through effective leadership and communication
  • Be actively involved in strategic workforce planning and resourcing, as well as attendance management and daily running of the department
  • Accountability of all aspects of people management including employee relations

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

As our ideal candidate, you should be a confident communicator, both written and verbal, and should be confident in the use of problem-solving, leadership, delegation and report writing. You will be able to showcase your administrative and IT skills, and learn new bespoke software packages. Your attention to detail will be imperative, as updating records and writing reports will be your bread and butter. You will also need to hold a Full Clean UK Driving License (to include manual vehicles). You will need to provide us with your 5 year employment history and have unrestricted right to work in the UK for screening purposes. A criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position.
