We have an exciting opportunity to join our Belfast team as an Apprentice Engineer. We are looking for someone to work alongside installation, commissioning and maintenance engineers carrying out works to high end addressable fire and associated fire safety systems in a wide variety of applications throughout the United Kingdom.
What you will be doing:
- To primarily assist in the installation and commissioning of modern bespoke Addressable Fire Detection and Alarm Systems, Refuge Alarm Systems & Associated Systems as scheduled by our Regional Installation Manager or Customer Support Centre throughout the UK.
- To assist in the undertaking of maintenance and service calls as scheduled by our Customer Support Centre.
- To assist in carrying out small installation day works as necessary.
- To comply with the Company Health and Safety requirements.
- To ensure that Health and Safety requirements are upheld at all times.
- To minimise waste and the effect on the environment.
- To respond to all communications within an appropriate time.
- To use Company property responsibly.
- To represent the Company's best interests.
- To be highly motivated with the ability to work as part of a team and under your own initiative with an excellent attention to detail.
- To carry out other duties, which reasonably fall within the remit of the role as requested by the Regional Installation Manager or Operations Management Team.
- To represent the Company in a professional manner.
- To maintain the highest standards of quality.
- To ensure Customer satisfaction.
What we are looking for:
- You must have been accepted on a Level 3 Apprenticeship NI in Fire and Security Systems to apply for this role.
- Literate & numerate (GCSE /O Level or equivalent as a minimum).
- Industry recognised Qualifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Well organised & responsible individual.
- Good attention to detail.
- Smart appearance.
- Confident and professional approach to work.
- Prepared to undertake enhanced personal security checks.
