Full time, permanent position, 42.5 hours per week, on a shift rota of 3 on, 3 off, 12 hour shifts, 08:00 - 20:00 hours - with flexibility where necessary, to meet business needs.

G4S Events are pleased to announce an opportunity to work with the year round Guarding Team at Headingley Stadium, Leeds. This is a full time position, primarily working within a gatehouse setting.

Job Overview: The position holder is responsible for supporting and delivering services to a key customer site. The holder will work for the Operations Manager, as part of the year round Guarding & Gatehouse Delivery Team. This role will require working on a shift pattern rota, including evenings and weekends as part of the Guarding & Gatehouse Team and wider frontline workforce, and will require some flexibility to ensure the operational needs of the business are met. Opportunities which can include paid overtime and events will be offered, where appropriate to the successful candidate to develop experience and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Access Control & Site Security:
    • Manage Site Access: Oversee the entry and exit points for all vehicles and contractors, ensuring only authorised personnel enter the premises.
    • Surveillance: Actively monitor CCTV systems throughout your shift to identify and report suspicious activity or safety hazards.
    • Key Management: Maintain full accountability for site-wide key control, including tracking, issuing, and retrieving keys for staff and contractors.
  • Operational Coordination:
    • Logistics Support: Take responsibility for accepting all site deliveries and providing prompt notification to clients upon arrival.
    • Fire Safety Oversight: Manage the site fire panel; investigate out-of-hours activations and coordinate emergency communications with clients and emergency services as required.
  • Client Relations & Incident Management:
    • First-Point-of-Contact: Act as a professional representative of the site when dealing with customer complaints or enquiries.
    • Communication Liaison: Efficiently triage issues and ensure complaints or operational requests are escalated to the correct client or department on site.

Please note that you must hold a valid SIA DS Licence and it is highly desirable that you also hold a CCTV Licence, or have successfully passed this training. Preference will be given to those candidates who fit this category.
