G4S Events are currently recruiting additional SIA Door Supervisors to support our current Events Team working at Doof In The Park on 4th July 2026. If you’re confident, professional, and ready to work in a fast-paced events environment, then we want to hear from you! You’ll also have opportunities to work at some of the biggest events and iconic venues in Edinburgh, if you’re open to travel.
Please note you will have to make your own way to and from the site at Doof In The Park, Camperdown Park in Dundee, as we are unable to provide any transport.
As a DS licenced Security Officer, you’ll be the visible, friendly face of safety, helping to ensure visitors and staff have a safe and enjoyable experience. You should be comfortable in handling any incidents which may occur and deal with conflict management in a professional manner.
About the Role
Our Events SIA Security Officers provide a visible reminder that safety is our number one priority for visitors and staff. This means you could be working indoors or outdoors, on your feet showing visitors where to go, checking tickets at entry points, monitoring crowds, or managing the car parking facilities. Wherever you are, you will be a helpful and friendly face representing the event.
As an Events SIA Security Officer you will be responsible for securing venues, staff and visitors for our customers. This may include, but are not limited to:
- Respond promptly and efficiently to any call made by control in relation to crowd disturbances.
- Deal with crowd disruptions (sometimes physical removals/extractions).
- Robust response when required.
- Body and Bag searches if required.
- Monitor crowd movements and behaviour to identify potential issues or incidents and to take action to resolve as necessary.
- Ensure that all secured zones within the venue remain free of prohibited and restricted items.

Requirements:
- Must be over 18 years old.
- Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
- Availability to work evenings and/or weekends.
- A friendly, professional, and reliable attitude with a strong focus on great customer service.
- Confident communication skills and a smart, well presented appearance.
For this role, you must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence - don’t worry, if you don't have this you can still be considered as Events Safety Steward, so please see our other opportunities on the website.
