Overview
We’re looking for a creative and self-motivated Videographer & Editor who is passionate about video games, storytelling and creating high quality video content. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Senior Communications team to help shape and grow our in-house content capabilities. You’ll lead the ideation, filming, editing, and delivery of video content across our social channels, as well as publisher channels, third party placement, and more. You’ll also play a key role in growing and engaging our online community through entertaining and informational video content. You’ll be someone who can spot a great story or moment, film it, edit it and help shape how we present it to our community, ensuring all content reflects the studio’s voice and tone.
Responsibilities
- Lead the ideation, filming, editing, and delivery of video content across social channels, publisher channels, third party placements, and more.
- Help shape and grow in-house content capabilities in collaboration with the Senior Communications team.
- Grow and engage the online community through entertaining and informational video content.
- Identify compelling stories or moments, film them, edit them, and influence how content is presented to reflect the studio’s voice and tone.
Qualifications
- Hands-on and fast-moving, with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to creatively solve problems as they arise.
- Confident making content decisions without waiting for a brief. Essential: strong end-to-end video production skills including ideation, filming, editing, motion graphics, sound, and publication; ability to create lower-third graphics and text treatments.
- Passion for video games and their development.
- Highly skilled in end-to-end video production, including ideation, filming, editing, motion graphics, sound, and publication; capable of creating lower-third graphics and text treatments.
- Ability to capture high quality gameplay for use in video assets.
- Independent and reliable in delivering high quality, polished video content.
- Ability to create rapid content assets for timely marketing needs across social platforms.
- Fluent in modern social media platforms (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram) and understanding of what resonates there.
- Strong insights into marketing and social media trends; excellent communication skills.
- Livestreaming experience; skilled in creating motion graphics in After Effects or similar.
Experience
- Proven experience in video editing and video production with a strong portfolio of content you have shot and edited.
- Adobe Creative Suite experience, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects or equivalent.
- Good understanding of camera equipment and lighting.
- Experience creating content that balances creativity with marketing goals.
Location: South East — requires weekly hybrid working (1-2 days per week)
