G3 is looking for a manager to join G3’s Asia team in London. The successful candidate will manage strategic intelligence and complex due diligence projects, predominantly in the APAC region. We are looking for resourceful and self-motivated candidates with a minimum of 3-4 years of relevant working experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Management of enhanced due diligence and strategic intelligence projects across APAC, with particular areas of focus including Greater China, Southeast Asia, and South Asia;
- Drafting commercially accurate and clearly structured briefings and reports;
- Presenting briefings in meetings with deal teams, legal teams, and/or C-suite;
- Briefing clients and other external and internal stakeholders on existing project work;
- Identifying, vetting, and cultivating a range of human sources across major APAC geographies and industries;
- Mentoring and guiding junior team members;
- Drafting client-ready project proposals and assisting with wider business development activities.
The successful candidate will have:
- Expertise or interest in the APAC region (Southeast Asia and South Asia countries are an advantage), paired with an understanding of commercial and regulatory risks faced by investors across the region;
- Fluency in English and excellent written and verbal communication skills for report drafting and client briefings;
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience producing complex commercial writing and advisory (e.g. consultancy, business intelligence, law, investment advisory, or corporate project management);
- Experience in mentoring or managing junior team members;
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects at the same time, and meet client deadlines;
- Excellent interpersonal skills for delivering client briefings and liaising with other internal and external stakeholders;
- Proficiency in an Asian language would be an advantage;
- High levels of commercial awareness;
- High levels of cultural awareness;
- Strong presentation and verbal communication skills;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Strong analytical skills.
Salary: competitive, based on experience. Flexible working balance of home and office. Stakeholder pension contribution of 5%. Private medical insurance including generous terms of cover for both medical hospital, dental and mental health support for you, your partner and children (subject to T&Cs of the policy). Life insurance – 4 x annual salary. 25 days holiday per year in addition to bank holidays. Cycle to work scheme.
