An exciting opportunity to work within an established and leading Project Delivery Organisation which is focused on delivering fast paced and complex Engineering Systems to UK and International Government and Defence Organisations and the Commercial Business sector. This role focuses on Whole Life Cycle Project Management, from concept and bid phase to Through Life Support of the equipment. Duties:
- Project Management of multiple Engineering Projects, ensuring Contractual Deliverable Requirements are met.
- Management of resources and programs to ensure projects are delivered on Time, to Cost and Key Performance Indicators are met.
- Overall Safety, Quality & Technical responsibilities for all project related activities.
- Delegated Financial responsibility for projects.
- Initiation and upkeep of project risk registers.
- Initiation and maintenance of effective business relationships with project stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring at all times the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved.
- Management of multi-disciplined Project Teams.
- Provision of timely technical and budgetary reports as required
Provide Business Development support for new project bids.
Start: January 2024
Qualifications Required:
- Recognised Project Management qualification, preferably Association of Project Management
- Recognised Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Qualification, minimum C&G level
IT literate with demonstrable ability in the use of the MS suite of applications, including MS Project.
Skills / Experience Required:
- Planning and Programme Management.
- The candidate will preferably have experience working within the defence industry
- Reliable, presentable with good timekeeping.
- Strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholders. Comfortable and confident engaging with customers.
- Good record keeping skills and attention to detail.
