Status: Fixed term for a 12 month period

Location: Hybrid Portland, Dorset (Osprey Quay)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Commercial Manager to join G3 Systems at our Osprey Quay site in Portland, Dorset. This is a pivotal role responsible for leading the commercial and contractual management of assigned projects and portfolios, ensuring effective risk management and full contractual compliance throughout the contract lifecycle. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the G3 Systems Strategic Plan, protecting the company’s commercial interests while enabling successful, value-driven outcomes for our clients.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead commercial activities across assigned projects and portfolios
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts, subcontracts, and variations
  • Act as a key point of contact for standard commercial documentation (e.g. NDAs, confidentiality agreements) and track their progress
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms, company policies, and relevant regulations
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks
  • Lead change control processes, including variations, claims, and negotiations
  • Support bid and proposal development
