Overview
In the role of IT Support Technician, you will play a key part in supporting the delivery of national and international projects and programmes across G3 Systems’ operations. Your primary responsibilities will include providing first-line (Level 1) IT support to staff throughout the organisation. This will involve assisting with new starter and leaver processes, troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and user account issues, and ensuring the seamless and timely achievement of key service level agreements.

This is a permanent, full-time role offering a starting salary from £24,000 (depending on experience), along with a comprehensive benefits package.
You will report to G3 Systems’ Head of Business Support and work closely with the wider Business Support team. Assisting with security and administrative tasks such as meeting room setup, guest sign-in, and providing front-office cover during staff absences.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line (Level 1) IT support to staff across the organisation, including troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and user account issues.
- Log, track, and resolve IT incidents and service requests in line with agreed SLAs.
- Install, configure, and maintain end-user devices, peripherals, and standard applications.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including IT account setup, equipment allocation, and induction support.
- Maintain IT asset registers and support hardware/software inventory control.
- Support documentation of IT processes, guides, and knowledge base articles.
- Provide occasional assistance to the wider Business Support team for Security and Admin tasks, such as meeting room setup, guest sign-in, or front-office cover during staff absence.
