We are looking for an exceptional Head of Cloud Security / Senior Cloud Security Architect to join our growing cyber consulting practice.
This is a rare opportunity for a highly experienced cloud security leader to combine strategic advisory, technical excellence, and practice growth in a role that offers significant influence across clients, engagements, and the future direction of G3's cloud security capability.
You will work with senior client stakeholders to define cloud security strategies, lead complex transformation programmes, and help organisations securely adopt and scale modern cloud technologies.
Alongside delivery leadership, you will play a key role in expanding our Cloud Security practice, and mentoring talent, developing propositions and our go-to-market profile.
What You'll Be Doing
As a trusted advisor and technical leader, you will
- Design and deliver secure, resilient, and scalable architecture designs across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform environments.
- Advise on enterprise-scale cloud transformation, migration, and modernisation programmes, supporting across strategy through to implementation.
- Help clients establish and mature Dev Sec Ops capabilities, embedding security into CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-native engineering practices.
- Drive cloud security governance, architecture assurance, security remediation, and control optimisation initiatives.
- Conduct security architecture reviews, threat modelling exercises, risk assessments, and cloud security maturity assessments.
- Contribute to business development activities, thought leadership, and the continued growth of our Cloud Security practice.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking an experienced cloud security professional who combines deep technical expertise with strong consulting and leadership capabilities.
- 10+ years experience in cloud security or related disciplines.
- Proven track record delivering complex cloud security programmes within enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise across cloud platforms, identity and access management, network security, data protection, and security operations.
- Experience designing and implementing secure cloud architectures across AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Deep understanding of modern security frameworks and architectures, including Zero Trust principles.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and client-facing consulting skills.
- Experience leading teams and driving successful outcomes in complex delivery environments.
One or more of the following (or equivalent)
- CISSP
- CCSP
- AWS Security Specialty
- Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert
- Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer

You are comfortable discussing cloud security strategy with board-level stakeholders as you are reviewing architecture diagrams or challenging technical design decisions.
