The Role
As a conveyancing paralegal within this team you will assist the overall team which comprises three fee earners on all aspects of their varied conveyancing caseload, supporting fee earners through all stages of the transaction process. This will include sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with file management from instruction through to completion
- Preparing legal documentation and correspondence
- Conducting property searches and reviewing results
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
- Handling post‐completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
About You
- A strong interest in property law and conveyancing
- Law degree 2:1 or above – LPC desirable but not essential
- Previous experience in a legal support or conveyancing role is desirable but not essential
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- A proactive and professional approach
