The Role
This very established and fast growing regional law firm in Taunton is recruiting a solicitor into its established Court of Protection team.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage a caseload of Property & Affairs matters
- Handle day-to-day tasks and decisions – Managing bank accounts, investments and benefits
- Prepare and submit applications to the Court of Protection
- Liaise with individuals, their families, deputies and the OPG
- Draft witness statements and court applications
- Represent clients at Court of Protection hearings
- Supervise more junior members of the team
About You
- You will already be working in a Court of Protection role
- And likely running your own caseload
- You may be a newly qualified solicitor, or have up to 4 or 5 years’ experience
