An exciting, senior-level opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor (6+ PQE) to join a highly regarded Employment team in Leeds.
This role offers the chance to work on a varied and high-quality caseload of respondent employment matters, acting for businesses across a range of sectors within an insurance-backed environment.
This position is ideal for an ambitious solicitor looking to take the next step in their career, combining complex, interesting work with genuine opportunities for progression, supervision and business development.
Your responsibilities will include
- Managing your own varied caseload of Employment matters, including complex and high-value claims.
- Advising and representing clients on a broad range of respondent Employment issues, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, TUPE and whistleblowing.
- Working within an insurance-backed litigation environment, advising on policy coverage and supporting insurers with claims handling.
- Delivering commercially focused, pragmatic legal advice to business clients across a range of sectors.
- Assisting colleagues on complex matters and collaborating across the wider business.
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors or Chartered Legal Executives who can demonstrate a minimum of 6 years\' PQE in Employment law with strong experience managing a varied and complex respondent Employment caseload.
Experience working within an insurance-backed litigation environment would be advantageous, although candidates with strong respondent Employment experience are encouraged to apply.
