An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Paralegal to join a well-established and expanding law firm based in Stoke-on-Trent. This position is ideal for an organised and ambitious legal professional looking to develop their career within commercial property law, supporting experienced solicitors on a broad range of property transactions while gaining valuable exposure to high-quality legal work.

Working as part of a collaborative Commercial Property team, you will assist with the day-to-day management of transactions, provide exceptional client support and contribute to the continued success of the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support across a wide variety of commercial property matters, including assisting with freehold and leasehold acquisitions, disposals, leases and other commercial property transactions.
  • Prepare legal documentation, draft correspondence and complete forms required throughout the conveyancing process.
  • Manage files efficiently by maintaining accurate records and updating the firm’s case management system.
  • Liaise with clients, solicitors, lenders, agents and other third parties to ensure transactions progress smoothly.
  • Carry out legal research, obtain searches and respond to routine enquiries under the supervision of experienced fee earners.
  • Support the completion of transactions by coordinating documentation and ensuring key deadlines are met.
  • Provide high levels of client care through professional, timely and effective communication.
  • Assist with departmental administration and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
About you

The successful Commercial Property Paralegal will be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience working within a Commercial Property or Property Law department, or a genuine interest in pursuing a career in this area of law.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities while working to deadlines.
  • Confident communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with clients and colleagues.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop within a supportive legal environment.
  • Good IT skills and experience using legal case management systems would be advantageous.
