A leading South Coast Family team is seeking an experienced Family Law Partner to join its Southampton office and play a key role in shaping the future growth of a respected practice. This is an opportunity to join a team renowned for its expertise in divorce & financial settlements, private children matters, TOLATA disputes and constructive dispute resolution, including mediation. The team combines divorce and financial remedy specialists, expert mediators and child law practitioners, working collaboratively to deliver balanced and pragmatic outcomes for clients.
The Role
- Handle a high-quality caseload of financial remedy, private children and (ideally) TOLATA matters
- Manage complex and high-net-worth cases involving technical and factual challenges
- Lead on business development, networking and sector profile-raising activities
- Support the continued growth of the practice by winning new work and strengthening client relationships
- Mentor and develop junior lawyers within a supportive, open and collaborative team environment
- Contribute to strategic planning and team development
About You
- Has significant experience in family law at senior associate or partner level
- Demonstrates a proven track record in managing complex financial remedy and private children cases
- Enjoys business development and promoting the team’s offering
- Thrives in a collaborative environment and has a genuine interest in developing junior colleagues
- Is trained in mediation or another form of ADR, or is keen to train as a mediator
