An established and growing Shropshire Legal 500 firm is looking to recruit a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join its Contentious Probate team in Shrewsbury. This role offers an excellent platform for an NQ solicitor to develop specialist expertise in contentious probate within a supportive and progressive working environment. You will work closely with a senior solicitor who is highly experienced in this area, receiving structured supervision while gaining early responsibility for your own matters.
The Role
The successful candidate will assist with and progressively manage a dedicated caseload of contentious probate and inheritance disputes, including:
- Claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975
- Disputes relating to estates and probate
- Applications concerning the removal of executors and trustees
This position provides exposure to high-quality work and the opportunity to build strong technical knowledge early in your career.

- A newly qualified solicitor (or due to qualify shortly)
