An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm's Commercial Property team in Shrewsbury (outside of the city centre with free on-site parking).
This role provides the opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of commercial property matters while benefiting from strong mentoring and the autonomy to develop a successful long-term career. The firm has modern offices, a really great culture and genuine career progression.
The Role
The successful Solicitor will become an integral member of the Commercial Property department, handling a broad range of high-quality and often complex commercial property transactions for a diverse client base. Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on landlord and tenant matters
- Managing commercial property acquisitions and disposals
- Drafting and negotiating conditional contracts, option agreements and overage agreements
- Acting on secured lending transactions
- Advising on easements and other property rights
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent communication and service
- Contributing to the continued success and growth of the Commercial Property department
About you
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in commercial property. Applications from more experienced Solicitors are also welcomed
- Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of commercial property matters
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A proactive, commercially focused approach with strong attention to detail
- Outstanding client care and communication skills
- Confidence using legal technology and adapting to modern ways of working
- A genuine passion for commercial property law and the ambition to continue developing professionally
