Responsibilities:

• A well-established law firm in Scunthorpe is looking to appoint a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its growing claimant team.
• This is an excellent opportunity to handle high quality work while making a real difference to clients pursuing complex medical negligence claims.
• The successful solicitor will manage a varied caseload from instruction through to resolution.
• The role includes drafting Letters of Claim and pleadings, instructing medical experts and counsel, advising clients on liability and quantum, and progressing claims in accordance with the Pre Action Protocol.
• You will build strong client relationships while delivering a high standard of technical advice and client care.

Requirements:

• A qualified Solicitor with demonstrable claimant Clinical Negligence experience.
• Confidence managing your own caseload with an appropriate level of supervision.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and case management skills.
• A proactive, organised approach and excellent client communication skills.
