A leading UK law firm is looking to appoint an NQ solicitor to join its highly regarded Pensions team in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Solicitor qualifying this year, or a Recently Qualified Solicitor, to build a long-term career within a specialist practice recognised for its technical expertise, high-quality client base and supportive approach to development.
The Opportunity
Joining a well-established national team, the successful candidate will work alongside experienced pensions specialists advising employers, trustees and pension providers on a broad range of matters, including:
- Defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes
- Scheme governance and regulatory compliance
- Corporate transactions with pensions implications
- Risk transfer projects, including buy-ins and buy-outs
- Potentially contentious pensions issues and dispute resolution
- Day-to-day advisory support for a diverse client portfolio
