I'm currently working with a highly regarded Yorkshire law firm to recruit a Junior Fee Earner into its specialist Abuse Compensation Department based in Dewsbury.
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the country's leading teams in this specialist area, working alongside experienced lawyers who are recognised for handling complex and high‑profile abuse compensation claims. You'll gain exposure to both Civil Abuse Claims and Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) matters, with comprehensive training provided throughout.
The team has been involved in landmark cases that have helped shape this area of law, acting for survivors of abuse in children's homes, foster care and detention centres, while working closely with charities and organisations supporting survivors across the UK. It's a genuinely meaningful role where you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference to clients' lives.
The Role
- Managing your own caseload of abuse compensation matters with supervision
- Assisting on both Civil and CICA claims
- Providing compassionate, high‑quality client care to vulnerable clients
