Residential Property Solicitor – York or Malton – Hybrid Working

We have an exciting opportunity for a Residential Property Solicitor to join a well-established and highly regarded Property team based in York or Malton.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive firm, handling a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters while building long-term relationships with clients and referrers.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage Your Own Caseload – Handle residential sales, purchases, remortgages and other conveyancing matters from instruction to completion.
  • Advise Clients – Draft and review contracts, titles and leasehold documents while providing clear, practical advice.
  • Build Relationships – Develop strong relationships with clients, estate agents, lenders and referrers.
  • Support the Team – Work collaboratively with colleagues and assist in mentoring junior team members.
  • Deliver Excellent Service – Progress matters efficiently while providing a high standard of client care

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years' PQE in Residential Conveyancing
  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive (CILEX) or SQE-qualified
  • Strong technical knowledge across all aspects of residential property transactions
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical ability with a practical, solutions-focused approach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Partners for Windows (or similar case management systems)
  • Able to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
  • Committed to delivering exceptional client care and maintaining the highest professional standards
