A highly regarded boutique corporate and commercial law firm in South Bucks is seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join its thriving and specialist corporate team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Corporate Lawyer, M&A Solicitor, or Company Commercial Solicitor looking to work on high-quality, high-value transactions within a dynamic and forward-thinking practice with a strong focus on technology, AI and growth‑sector clients.

Responsibilities

  • You will advise a sophisticated client base on a broad range of corporate and company law matters, including:
    • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), disposals and business sales
    • Private equity and investment transactions
    • Company restructures, demergers and capital reductions
    • Shareholder agreements and LLP agreements
    • Corporate governance and regulatory advisory work
    • Tax‑driven restructures and group reorganisations
    • Share schemes, including EMI schemes and HMRC-approved incentive arrangements
    • Secured lending, loan agreements and security documentation (training available if needed)

The firm typically handles transactions ranging from £2 million to £20 million, offering exposure to high-quality, mid‑market deals without the volume pressures of larger City firms.

Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will be a 5+ PQE Corporate Solicitor or Company Commercial Lawyer with:
    • Strong experience in M&A and corporate transactions
    • A solid understanding of shareholder agreements and corporate structuring
    • Exposure to or interest in private equity, venture capital or investment work
    • Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) EMI share schemes and secured lending
    • A commercial, client‑focused approach and ability to manage transactions independently
