A leading national law firm is looking to appoint a Residential Development Associate (3 to 5 PQE) to join its highly regarded Manchester team. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's largest and most established residential development practices, acting exclusively for major housebuilders, regional developers, promoters and institutional landowners.
You will work on complex, high-value land transactions across England and Wales, including strategic land acquisitions, development and collaboration agreements, conditional contracts, options, funding arrangements, urban regeneration projects and joint ventures. The role offers exposure to nationally significant residential development schemes, with the support of specialist planning, construction and litigation teams, allowing lawyers to focus on high-quality land acquisition work.
While experience advising housebuilders would be beneficial, the firm is also keen to speak with commercial property solicitors who have strong development experience and are looking to specialise in residential development. This opportunity would suit an ambitious solicitor seeking a clear pathway for progression within a market-leading team, with access to excellent training, long-term career development and the chance to work alongside recognised experts in the residential development sector.
