Our client, a leading Legal 500 law firm, is seeking an ambitious Commercial Solicitor (4+ PQE) to join its growing Commercial team in Maidenhead. The Role
You'll advise a diverse client base on a broad range of commercial matters, including:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
- Terms and Conditions of Business
- Supply, distribution and agency agreements
- IT, software and SaaS agreements
- Licensing, intellectual property and data protection matters
- Outsourcing and service agreements
- Advising start-ups on business structures, investment and commercial strategy
- Supporting charities on governance, regulatory compliance and commercial issues
- Advising SMEs and owner-managed businesses on day-to-day commercial legal matters
- Supporting multinational organisations with UK commercial law and cross-border transactions
- Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives
About You
You'll ideally be a Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years' PQE in Commercial Law, plus:
- Strong experience advising on a wide range of commercial contracts
- Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
- Knowledge of IT, technology or software contracts would be advantageous
- Excellent technical drafting and negotiation skills
- Commercial awareness with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
- Strong communication and client relationship management skills
- An interest in business development and networking
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
