Key Responsibilities

  • Cross-Border Governance: Provide end-to-end Company Secretariat support and advisory to the Irish and Australian Boards and Committees
  • Meeting Management: Independently manage and attend high-level board, committee and executive meetings, producing comprehensive minutes to tight time scales
  • Board Portal Ownership: Orchestrate and circulate complex board and reporting packs globally via Diligent and Diligent Entities
  • Action & Compliance Tracking: Drive corporate accountability by recording, reporting and monitoring all board actions and conflicts of interest to completion
  • Framework Alignment: Embed and enhance the Company Secretariat Manual, governing policies and committee Terms of Reference across international entities
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a central point of contact for Directors, executives, internal teams and external auditors to ensure seamless annual audit support

About You

  • Industry Expertise: Solid experience within a legal, governance, or corporate secretarial environment, with a distinct advantage if coming from the insurance market
  • Technical Proficiency: Exceptional minute-taking skills and advanced competence in Microsoft Office and dedicated entity management software (Diligent)
  • Communication Skills: Fluent written and verbal English with a clear, analytical approach and the ability to build strong relationships at executive and group levels
  • Autonomy & Delivery: Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to manage your own workload, anticipate complications and hit deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Professional Discretion: Meticulous attention to detail with an absolute commitment to confidentiality and protecting the interests of the wider group
